Ak chigeldäk

“White cookies/biscuits”

  • 100 ml milk or water
  • 200 ml sugar
  • 25 g melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp ammonium carbonate
  • 8 drops of peppermint oil
  • 100 ml potato flour
  • 400 ml wheat flour

Mix all ingredients together and make a paste. Cover a large oven tray with baking paper. Using a tablespoon, cut out small balls from the dough and put them onto the oven tray.

Bake the cookies in the middle of the oven at 170°-200°C for 10-15 minutes.
